If you’re not that familiar with me, my name is Adeea (uh-Dee-uh) Rogers. I am so glad you’re here! Now let’s get connected!
Over the course of my life, I’ve been blessed to wear several hats and accomplish quite a bit.
- Natural Hair YouTuber
- Event Planner
- Certified Evernote Consultant
- Creator, International Natural Hair Meetup Day
- Co-Creator, Black Biz Live
- Creator, Black Women Podcasters
- Curated my first makeup collection for the Now This is Trendy brand
All of those roles have one unique characteristic–they are all aligned with my purpose. And that purpose is
To inspire, inform, empower & equip others to create the purpose-filled lives they want.
I’m not sure how you ended up here, but I am certainly glad you did. I created this page as a starting point to help us stay connected and to help you navigate some of the elements of style, statement, and substance I offer.
Please take a few minutes to explore this page and be sure to sign up for my email list so I can stay in contact with you!
Step One: Get to Know Me
I came up with the name “the Trendy Socialite” after taking a quiz in a book called “The Budget Fashionista”—I was equal parts “trendy” and “socialite.” The name resonated—and it stuck.
I started as a natural hair YouTuber back in the day when dinosaurs roamed the Earth (circa 2009). In 2011, I began hosting natural hair events in my hometown of Greenville, NC. This evolved into me creating and hosting International Natural Hair Meetup Day for 5 years, the first event of its kind to hold live natural hair events in multiple cities on the same day. Through this event, I made lifelong friends, worked with amazing brands, and truly felt like I lived and leaned into my purpose.
My overarching purpose is to help, teach, and empower people (women especially) to create the life that they want and love. I have expressed this purpose in a multitude of ways—coaching, speaking, teaching webinars, being a micro influencer, consulting, etc. I have always desired to live my life in such a way that people can be inspired.
Step two: Let’s Get Connected!
Keeping people inspired necessitated creating online spaces for me to connect with people. I’d love it if you’d follow and join me at:
- FaceBook page
- Telegram Channel and Group (where any Clubhouse discussion notes will be shared)
- FaceBook Group
- Schedule a Consultation or Conversation
Step three: Dive Deeper
If you’ve read and scrolled down this far, I hope you’ve found something interesting or that you’ve connected with. So I invite you to dive a little deeper into some of my content and experiences.
Now This is Trendy
If 2020 didn’t teach me anything else, it taught me how important it is to surround ourselves with elements of style, statement, and substance that helps to create and manage a life that we love! That’s what inspired me to begin Now This is Trendy. My first release is a collaborative makeup collection with Necia Boston—available exclusively at BAABS Beauty! Purpose Scripture Writing Plan
We all learn and absorb information in different ways. Reading scripture feeds our souls. Another layer to letting God’s Word get deep in our hearts is by re-writing/copying scripture. And that’s what Scripture writing is…writing scripture verses (you can read my blog post about it here). You can get your free 31 day Scripture Writing Plan with purpose related scriptures here.
“Where words leave off, music begins.”~Heinrich Heine
Now that we’ve gotten to know each other a little better, let’s get connected! Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to introduce yourself or to start a conversation about how we could be beneficial to each other.
If you’d like to schedule a chat or consultation, you can do so here.
